Zoe, the mentor character in my Wine Club Sales Training course, went through several design iterations as I refined both her visual style and her role in the learning experience.

I started with a real-world photo for inspiration, then used AI tools to generate a digital illustration that captured a warm, welcoming tasting room scene. As the course developed, I decided I wanted Zoe to reflect greater representation—so I created a photo-realistic AI character depicting an Asian woman in a light-filled, natural wood-toned setting.

From there, I explored illustration styles that felt more visually engaging than flat vector art. I found examples online that used textured color and grain effects, and I used that inspiration to guide the creation of Zoe’s final design—a style that feels polished, friendly, and aligned with the hospitality tone of the course.
