I start by understanding the problem we’re solving. That means asking questions, identifying the learners’ needs, and digging into the goals of the business or team. A strong analysis helps ensure that training is truly the right solution.
Once the goals are clear, I map out the learning experience. This includes writing learning objectives, planning the structure, choosing formats (like eLearning or job aids), and thinking through how to keep learners engaged.
Next, I bring the design to life—writing scripts, creating visuals, building out the course or materials, and ensuring everything works together to support the learning goals. This is where tools like Storyline, Rise, or Canva come into play.
I support the rollout of the learning solution—whether that means uploading to an LMS, creating facilitator guides, or ensuring everything’s ready for launch. My goal is a smooth delivery that supports both learners and stakeholders.
After launch, I look at how the training performed. I gather feedback, review completion data or quiz scores, and reflect on how well the solution met the original goals—so the next version can be even better.
I assess learner needs, identify clear goals, and create experiences that make content stick.
My background in writing and teaching makes me a natural when it comes to shaping engaging, well-paced narratives for learning.
From VILT slide decks to in-person workshops, I design and deliver training that connects with all kinds of learners.
I use proven models like ADDIE, SAM, and Adult Learning Theory to structure and guide each project. I trained in Tim Slade's eLearning Designer's Academy.
I love working with SMEs and stakeholders to create something meaningful—and I shine in the training room, whether I’m facilitating in person or online.
