As part of a corporate eLearning design challenge, I created this compliance-focused training for a representative youth sports facility, Baseline Recreation. The goal: help new field and court supervisors communicate concussion protocol clearly to parents—reducing liability while building trust.
As part of a corporate eLearning design challenge, I created this compliance-focused training for a representative youth sports facility, Baseline Recreation. The goal: help new field and court supervisors communicate concussion protocol clearly to parents—reducing liability while building trust.
Using the ADDIE model, I designed and developed this course from the ground up—starting with a needs analysis based on research from the CDC and input from a fictional client. I focused on building empathy, clarity, and confidence for non-medically trained staff. Scenario-based interactions guide learners through real conversations with concerned parents.
I followed a design brief provided by the fictional client, using brand colors, fonts, and character images to create a cohesive and polished experience. The course features a relatable character, Carlos, a new hire navigating his role on the field. Learners follow his day and help him communicate effectively and compassionately with parents during a concussion incident.
This project showcases my ability to design training for corporate audiences using medical-adjacent content. I applied my strengths in research, storytelling, and scenario writing to build a course that is both clear and compliant.
